Traditional Bachata

Background:

Bachata music has a heavy guitar emphasis and heartrending love stories as its basis. However, it grew primarily within bars and brothels, and this led to Bachata being held back for literally decades. Fortunately, it is now one of the most prominent rhythms danced in our Latin dance community today. 

In this class, our instructor will be explaining syncopations and intricate footwork helping our students understand the musicality and complexity in the Bachata rhythms.
